Part III · Roleplay Mode · Chapter 15
Multiple Characters & Supporting Cast
Two approaches for richer scenes.
If you want your roleplay to include other characters beyond the main one, you have two approaches.
Approach 1 — Supporting cast in the backstory
Mention important people in the character's life in the backstory.
In-line
Has a best friend named Priya who's brutally honest. His ex-girlfriend Maya still texts him sometimes.
Approach 2 — The CREATOR_SUPPORTING_CAST tag
For more control, use the creator tag in your description:
Tag
CREATOR_SUPPORTING_CAST: Marcus, gallery owner, pretentious but well-connected. Priya, Elena's best friend, supportive but brutally honest. Sam, Elena's ex, avoidant and passive.
Key rules for multiple characters
- Keep each character's information clearly distinct.
- Refer to each by name, not as {{char}}.
- The main character remains the focus.
- Don't overload. Two or three supporting characters is usually enough. More than that and the AI starts mixing them up.
