Part I · Foundations · Chapter 5
Appearance
What to include, what to skip.
How much appearance matters depends on the mode.
- Chat mode: appearance only matters when the character describes themselves, sends a photo, or you ask what they look like.
- Roleplay mode: appearance matters more. The character is physically present, and is described through action.
Worth mentioning
- Distinctive features (scars, tattoos, unusual hair).
- Build (slim, athletic, heavyset).
- Style (how they dress).
Skip
- Exact measurements.
- Eye colour subtleties (“hazel with amber flecks”).
- Anything that won't come up in conversation.
