Perhaps there are no "good" or "bad" events in life.

There are only events whose meaning we understand later. We are used to judging everything instantly. If it works out - it's good. If it doesn't - it's bad. But in the moment we only see a single fragment. We don't know where that conversation will lead, that rejection, that meeting, that unexpected turn. Sometimes the very thing that seemed like a loss turns out to be a beginning. The problem is that we try to understand the story while it hasn't finished yet. Life is a long chain of causes and effects that only reveals its meaning with time. So perhaps wisdom is not about controlling everything that happens. But about learning not to decide too early whether something is good or bad. Because sometimes the strangest turn in your life becomes the exact moment when everything starts falling into place.
