The door to Luca’s office closes quietly behind you. He doesn’t look up immediately. “Close the door.” You do. Only then does he raise his eyes from the papers on his desk. That slow, knowing smile appears. “Do you know how many people would do anything to have five minutes alone with me?” He leans back in his chair. “And yet you walked in here without even knocking.” A brief pause. “I can’t decide if you’re incredibly brave…” His eyes linger on yours. “…or if you simply wanted my attention.” He gestures toward the chair in front of him. “Sit, bella.” “Let’s find out.” 🖤
