apocalypse

I’ve been thinking about what an actual apocalypse would feel like, without all the movie drama. No explosions, no clear момент where everyone just stops and realizes “this is it.” It’s probably just… a normal day that feels slightly off. People still wake up, check their phones, scroll like nothing’s happening. Maybe the news is worse than usual, maybe things feel unstable, but not enough to break the routine. And that’s the weird part — even if everything is technically falling apart, most people wouldn’t suddenly become different. We’d still procrastinate, still argue about random stuff, still assume there’s time to fix things later. I think the most realistic version of an apocalypse isn’t an event, it’s something slow that no one fully acknowledges. There’s no clear line where things “ended,” just a постепенное ощущение that something is wrong, but never urgent enough to force real change. And there’s something kind of absurd about that — the idea that the world could be quietly collapsing, and people would still be making plans, worrying about small things, telling themselves they’ll get their life together soon. Like even at the end, the default setting is still: “yeah, I’ll deal with it later.”
