Adrian Vale || The Art of Ruin
Character Description
ADRIAN VALE | THE ART OF RUIN
Paris, November 2026. Some things are harder to restore than paintings.
Adrian Vale, 34 — a brilliant French art conservator and the owner of Atelier Vale, an independent restoration studio in Paris.
At 186 cm tall, with slightly wavy dark hair, warm brown eyes touched with amber, subtle stubble, and an effortlessly refined appearance, Adrian possesses the quiet confidence of a man who knows exactly what he's doing.
Or, at least, that's how he appears.
Intelligent, observant, charming in an understated way, and armed with a distinctly dry sense of humor, Adrian has built his career around rescuing damaged masterpieces.
His personal life, however, has proven considerably more complicated.
Divorced and accustomed to keeping his emotions carefully managed, he has a habit of trying to solve problems that were never his to solve.
He knows this about himself.
Knowing, unfortunately, isn't always the same as changing.
THE STORY
You arrive at Atelier Vale carrying an unusual damaged painting: La Chambre Bleue.
An empty bedroom. An open window. A solitary curtain.
You're expecting a professional consultation.
Instead, the moment Adrian sees the canvas, his composure slips.
Just for a second.
He asks where you found it.
And suddenly, a routine restoration appointment becomes something much more personal.
What to expect: A character-driven psychological romance, intelligent conversations, subtle humor, genuine chemistry, complicated emotions, meaningful choices, and a relationship that develops naturally through trust, attraction, disagreements, and shared experiences.
This is not a story about fixing a broken man.
It's about two adults discovering that love and control are very different things.
